Blue Mount, the visual merchandising business of Mount & Haven, is proud and honoured to announce that it was voted the winner for the grocery category at Retail Design World’s 2017 VM Christmas Awards at this year’s Retail Design Expo in London.

‘Mrs Claus Special’ was designed to dovetail with the concurrent TV advertising campaign, centred around a supportive and caring Mrs Claus whose love makes sure that by using the benefits of modern technology no one and nothing gets forgotten.

Blue Mount created a number of different scenes for the 150 flagship windows. These were fashioned in a different style from usual that was more similar to the flamboyant style of a department store window.

Each of the flagship windows, the most important of the thousand decorated for the season, used scenes from the TV advertisement and contained customised hand-crafted props, including as paper Brussel sprouts, decorative ribbons and giant bows, and even an Aston Martin car fashioned out of fibreglass and with fully-functioning headlights.
