MCM (Design)

Blue Mount was tasked with helping MCM design a series of pop-up stores for Kadewe of Berlin, Germany, Paragon in Singapore and Lotte in Seoul, South Korea. The theme is a spin-off of the FW’18 concept of retro cassette tapes. Every shop’s colour scheme features monotonal shades of blue, with Kadewe using a deeper royal blue, and Asia region showcasing a dusty periwinkle, which is a far departure from the brand’s classic neutral and gold setting. It’s signature studs, however, remain a main feature used to frame large panels of solid colour, playing off a luxury-punk kind of aesthetic.
